Today's Scripture Passage: II Corinthians 1:20-22
20For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God. 21Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, 22set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
Today's Scripture Message:
Worldly thought adds the necessity of conditional certification to justify or dictate your credential. Christianity offers promises not on condition but on action of faith where promises of our father are all Yeah & to His Glory our response “Amen”. As a father to a child you are entrusted His kingdom and it is up to you to share your knowledge and experience to further His kingdom. Never discount your existence because seemingly it is less than someone next to you. In the eye of our Father you have a specific purpose one granted to you and only you which will be different from that person to your left or your right. Live your life, live it purposely, have faith and share your witness. Come as you are, right where you are, it is enough.
Prayer for the day:
Father, I am yours. I accept full responsibility and commit my life to the forwarding of your kingdom. I am certain who I am in you and will speak, act and share according to that knowledge, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Thought for the day:
"Far away there in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them, and try to follow where they lead.”
~ Louisa May Alcott
Goal for the Day
Know you have all you need and use what you have to elevate your circumstances.

Pastor Dickow’s Fast from Wrong Thinking
Revolution Day 13:
Today we’re fasting from the thought that says, “I’ll never get it back.” We all know what it’s like to lose money through investments, or bad decisions, or missed opportunities. Doubt enters our minds telling us that we won’t get back what has been lost.
Let’s change it today:
1. 1. "God will repay" Stop expecting sins to be repaid. They are forgiven. Expect lost years to be repaid. Joel 2:25 says, “I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten...”
2. 2. God is the God of restoration. He restored Job double (Job 42). He restored sight (Mark 8). He restored health (Jeremiah 32). He restores MONEY too—Ezekiel 16:53; Deuteronomy 30:3; Jeremiah 29:14 (NASB).
4. 4. Call on the seed you’ve sown. Declare to your past seeds, “Harvest, come forth from the seeds I’ve sown”. Galatians 6:9 “...in due season, you shall reap if you faint not.”
5.
5. Expect MORE NOW, MORE than ever. Ephesians 3:20 says, “God is able to do exceeding abundantly above and beyond all that we can ask or think...”6. Speak life over your finances. Proverbs 18:21 says, “Death and life are in the power of your tongue...”.
THINK IT & SAY IT:
I believe God will restore to me all lost money, lost opportunities and lost year. He will repay me for all that has been lost. I declare to my harvests, COME FORTH! My due season is coming; my seeds are coming forth. God is my source in times of darkness, and I expect MORE now MORE than ever, in Jesus’ Name!

Daily Lenten Reflection from
St. Michael of Old Town
Monday, the 2nd Week of Lent
March 21, 2011
“Give and gifts will be given to you; a good measure, packed together, shaken down, and overflowing, will be poured into your lap.” (Luke 6:38)
Could someone hand me a towel? Or a vacuum? The Creator seems to have poured gifts all over me, and, frankly, there’s a bit of a mess.
Contemplating this bounty, I realize how often my ego kicks in, and wants to neatly canister these gifts, cupboard them away, and carefully measure them out to use when I want and in the form I want. I guess my ego fools me into thinking I have some control. God says maybe not.
Of all the gifts I've received, and there have been plenty, the gift of my family springs to mind first and foremost. We tend to skew more Cleaver than Simpson, so over all there is very little friction. Recent parental health problems have brought us into closer proximity, and, well, occasionally there’s some flour on the floor. I try not to focus on the mess.
My family is and has always been completely supportive of me, willing to join together to support, and individually sacrifice for my benefit. They’re always with me. Here in my lap. Thank you, God.
Joseph
Giver of all good things, thank you. Please don't be impatient if I sometimes overlook the beauty of your gifts and see only the untidiness. I know you will guide me to the truth.
