All that is needed for your life is in HIS WORD, in every circumstance speak the word over it and it is done. Confess his word & act within that confession you are of a God that will never fail you. Know it, act in it, receive it.
Scripture of the Day: Mark 11:23 “23For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Prayer for the Day: Father I thank and praise you for your guiding word, and your favor. I leap with joy knowing I am of you and nothing of you fails. I give glory and honor to you my Lord for moving me forward, carrying me when needed, loving me anyway and for always being my rock…Praise you father, praise you father!!!, in Jesus' Name, Amen

Things that make you say hmmmmmm…..have you ever thought about some-thing internal time and time again…which has occurred after the fact that it has happen….this often makes you wonder and ponder why…or why did I do that....Today’s thought is do unto others as you want done unto you….sometimes our efforts go unnoticed ...
“Thank You, Two Simple Words, Together, 1 Great Expression”
We all have those people who no matter what are there for you, in your corner, just as you are, loving you… faults and all. That person who you can talk to about anything; who you know if you need something, and you ask, even if they don’t have it will do everything in their power to obtain it for you. Our Father in heaven is that ultimate source who puts these people in our lives. Thank God for loving you so much that he NEVER fails you & thank those pivotal people placed in your life by our Father for hearing the call and answering it. Many times we forget in our routines those unsung blessings all around us and though they are not looking for it, return the blessing and simply thank them, by doing so He is praised.
Scripture of the Day: Psalm 145:1-3
1I will extol You, my God, O King, and I will bless Your name forever and ever. 2Everyday I will bless You, and I will praise Your name forever and ever. 3Great is the Lord, and highly to be praised, and His greatness is unsearchable.
Prayer for the Day: Father may my heart always be humbled, may my words ever be “Thank You” and “Praise You”. Help me to never forget your mercy and the fact that all that I am and will be is YOU manifested in me. May I indiscriminately recognize all those placed in my life as a source of your greatness and a support for me that I never take their kindness for granted and always remember to express my gratitude to them, by doing so I praise you. This day and everyday to YOU be the glory, in Jesus' Name, Amen

Goal for the day: Take the time to thank someone who may know, but needs to hear the words “Thank You”.

Word for Today from Vandy
Vandy Harris
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline"
(II Timothy 1:7, NLT)
So many people today are living with less than God's best because they've allowed fear to stop them from pursuing their dreams. We have to remember that fear is not from God. It's a lie from the enemy to paralyze us and steal our power.
Today's verse tells what God has given us: power, love, and self-discipline or self-control. When you are confident in God's promises, there's nothing that can stop you. But when fear creeps in, you hesitate. You're not as strong as you were before. You feel powerless. Not only that, but it affects your love. Love prompts us to give, and when we are afraid, we tend to clench our fists and act selfishly. Fear also affects our self-discipline or self-control. It makes us panic and do things without thinking.
If you've allowed fear to steal from you in any area of life, today you can be free–you can be finished with fear. Conquering fear starts with a choice to believe God's promises, and then taking a step of faith to act on them. As you step out, God will be with you. He'll give you power, love, and self-discipline so that you can confidently move forward into the abundant life He has for you!
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
"Father God, I come to You today declaring that I am finished with fear. Thank You for giving me power, love, and a sound mind. I choose to stand on Your promises. Fill me with Your peace and joy today as I move forward in victory with You. In Jesus' Name. Amen."

Have the attitude that says, God, in spite of what's happened, I choose to be grateful. I may be sick, but Father, thank You for being my healer. I may be struggling in my relationship, but God, thank You for being my restorer. Thank You for giving me another sunrise. As you give thanks you'll see God's hand move mightily. You'll come out of that difficulty better, stronger, and wiser than before!
Daily Inspiration Lindsey Ragans
Life is just a series of trying to make up your mind on things…..Remember you are the one who must choose your place….To know just what has to be done…..go out and just do it ….Life is about decisions we make today….Good Day
"For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries"(I Corinthians 16:9, NKJ)
TODAY'S WORD
Are you walking by faith or sight today? In other words, are you choosing to believe God no matter what your circumstances look like, or are you making decisions and focusing your mind on what you can see. Remember, it's always darkest right before the dawn appears. I believe that you are about to give birth to that promise. The enemy sees the supernatural doors that are opened before you, and he will try his hardest to get you to quit, give up, and settle where you are. But if you'll just keep pressing past that adversity, if you'll keep praising, believing, and confessing God's promises, you'll make it through. You'll come out wiser and stronger, and you'll embrace every good thing God has in store for you!
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
"Father God, thank You for the open doors You have prepared for me. I recognize that these challenges have not come to stay; they have come to pass. I choose to stand strong in You, knowing that You have blessing and victory in store for my future. In Jesus' Name. Amen."
I heard this statement by Joyce Meyer and it is dead on. “Stop trying to impress God & keep it real.” Our Father is All Seeing & All Knowing. He is never surprised by your behavior. As any father with his child, he knows you just as you are and it is his responsibility to correct your behavior, and guide you along your walk.If your issue is anger, seek out what His word states about anger…the passages about prosperity are not going to help your anger issue. If your problem is fear…go to the Word and meditate on what it states about fear. The best analogy I heard about this was: “We as Christians are like an apple tree wanting to grow an orange”. God is the potter, he has planted his trees (us) into the ground. Provided the ground with minerals (His Word) & the sky with sun (His Light) and rain (Our Trials) that we have all we need to grow strong roots and produce heavenly fruit. So never stop looking up to the sky (God) enjoy the sun, take in the rain to make you stronger and may the minerals you absorb bring you continual growth that you and the fruit you bear stand out in the forest.
Scripture of the Day: II Corinthians 3:16-18
16But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect[a] the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
Prayer for the Day: Father I am a magnificent creation and praise you for all that you have instilled in me, I know that my composition is of your image, a reflection of you. My God, I am humbled that you thought so much of me, Me,a tiny morsel barely visible yet to you I am a mountain. Keep my heart, mind and soul open to receive all that you bring. I am your clay, mold me as you see fit, in Jesus' Name, Amen

You can live a lifetime …and the end of it….. you ponder and wonder why did I do the things I did ….you know more about other people than you know about yourself…learn what you are by looking in the mirror and respecting yourself …......then you will be able to fully understand the why’s behind what you do……. Good Day
Praise God for the message I heard this morning!!! It reminded me of a woman who as I would take the bus to school everyday I would hear her voice over the crowd of people rushing to begin their day “Call on the Lord, He will set you free” and this was all she would say everyday and here I am 25 years later, with her voice resonating as if I was right there, right now. Our Father uses us to be his spokesmen/women for the kingdom. Even when you are not sure anyone has heard you, press on for the Glory of God, brush off those sprits of doubt and refuse to hear the noise of negativity. His word never falls on deaf ears, even when the mind is not sure of what those ears have heard…at some point that word is manifested. No matter what you are the most powerful institution under God so Praise Him & Let Him Use YOU.
Scripture of the Day: Luke 4:13-19
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, Because he anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor: He hath sent me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovering of sight to the blind, To set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE "If indeed you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard…" (Colossians 1:23, NAS)
TODAY'S WORD
Have you been holding on to a promise or dream in your heart that seems to be taking a long time? When things don't go the way we've planned, it's easy to get discouraged and feel tempted to give up. But God wants to breathe new life into your dreams. He wants to breathe new hope into your heart. But you've got to do your part and shake off any negative, self-defeating thoughts. Instead of saying things like, "I'm never going to get there;" "I'm never going to break this addiction;" "I'm never going to get out of this problem;" your declaration should be, "I am closer than I think;" "I know I can do all things;" "I can overcome this sickness;" "I'm going to continue in the faith!"
I encourage you to get up each day knowing that this could be the day you get the break you need. This could be the day you see your health start to turn around. This could be the day your child comes back home. Don't give up now because God is about to open supernatural doors for you. Continue in the faith; keep your heart and mind focused on Him, and watch what He will do on your behalf!

My greatest admiration for God is how the countenance of everything everywhere is in such delicate balance. The way our bodies work, the way the planets are perfectly aligned in the universe. The way the seasons are placed to serve a purpose specific to where in the world you reside. How amazing is it that life is that simple. Our Father, has given us at least 1 thing, a gift, that was purposed to you for your benefit and the benefit of His kingdom. We are to use the gifts that we were given to prosper (be uplifted) and to share with others (to uplift), a perfect balance. If you wrote 1 song that inspired just 1 person, your living was in balance. If your witness was shared with 1 person and moved them away from harm, your living was in balance. If you took your last $5.00 to feed a homeless person who told you he was hungry, your living was in balance. We are all gifted (blessed), meant to be an award to someone else (blessing). Our hand should not extend more to receive than it does to give. We are full representations of the greatness of the Lord within us all for His glory, none more perfectly stated than in this song “We are the light of the world, may our light shine before men that they may see the good that we do and give Glory to God.”
Scripture of the Day: Romans 15:1-6
1We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. 2Each of us should please his neighbor for his good, to build him up. 3For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: "The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me."a]"> 4For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. 5May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, 6so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Prayer for the Day: Father for all that you have instilled in me may each seed multiply to cover the world in the blessings you intended.I praise you for your perfect order, for the simplicity of your Word & intent, for your heavy arm & light burden, for keeping me close and guiding my heart. I am not deserving of the favor you have placed before me and am in awe of your will to continue to use me. Glory be to you Lord and the perfection of your order, in Jesus' Name, Amen

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE "And at the same time pray for us also, that God may open a door to us…" (Colossians 4:3, AMP)
TODAY'S WORD In this life, we are blessed with so many opportunities and privileges. In this day and age, we have tools and resources to figure almost anything out. It's easy to just depend on our own natural ability to make things happen. But God wants to be intimately involved in our lives. He wants us to come to Him, depend on Him, and allow Him to show Himself strong on our behalf. He wants to open those doors for you, and He wants you to know that He is the one working behind the scenes on your behalf. Today, if you are looking for an open door, turn to God. Pray and ask Him to direct your every step. Keep asking, keep knocking, keep believing because God will open those doors before you. He will lead you and guide you into the abundant life He has in store for you!

If time is one of the most important things to precious……then wasting time must be the greatest prodigality…because lost time is never found again…press forward and prepare for something greater in life to come..don’t fret the small stuff and move forward…Good Day
Let us not become weary in doing good, at the proper time we will reap a harvest. As we grow weary, it results in discouragement and many of us give up. Resist weariness and giving up, Jesus never gave up! He is our greatest example. As He was hung on the cross, ridiculed and abused, paying the price for our sins, not His he fixed His eyes on the joy set before him. The next time you get weary, fix your eyes on Jesus.
I opened my bible this morning and the first passage my eyes fell upon was “Matthew 15: 18 “But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man”.Right away I remembered a lesson of old “Watch what hits your lips, what moves inside of you remains in you until you release it into the air then it travels everywhere, let your words be clearly purposed” I recall a story given me…”There was a man with 1 good arm and one crippled arm & tired of his circumstance he cried out to God “Please, Please, make this arm like the other arm” and immediately his good arm was crippled. The Word of God is complete and purposed. May all that you speak be reflective of His word and humbled to his presence in you that his favor flow like a river in your life.
Scripture of the Day: Exodus 20:20-23
20 "See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared. 21 Pay attention to him and listen to what he says. Do not rebel against him; he will not forgive your rebellion, since my Name is in him. 22 If you listen carefully to what he says and do all that I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and will oppose those who oppose you. 23 My angel will go ahead of you and bring you into the land of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites and Jebusites, and I will wipe them out.
Prayer for the Day: Father send before me your angels, your intercessors that the voices I hear are only of you. Bridle my tongue so that all I speak be that of your words and your will.My heart leaps with praise as I see the path you have paved for me and I give you glory and honor for the careful attention you have paid and will always pay me. I am certain of your favor and jubilant over your promises. I move forward fearless and in excited anticipation of the days to come, in Jesus' Name, Amen

Goal for the day: Meditate. Take the time to process the thoughts of your heart.
If your eyes are open and air is moving from your lungs to your nostrils you are blessed. Every time the words “Mommy or Daddy” are uttered from a little one, you are blessed. When you were laid off from that job that stressed you to the point of cardiac arrest…you are blessed. When your elderly Aunt, though you are 40 years old still sends you that birthday card with $5.00 in it…you are blessed. It is easy to find the wrong, pain or bad of a situation if that is what your focus is on. Stand firm on Gods word…you are blessed because you are the child of a father who’s foundation is stronger than 100 feet of solid concrete…you are blessed because he promised you he will never leave you or forsake you. You are blessed with the grace of Christ and a heavenly heritage. Know who you are, know who’s you are & continue your walk in blessed confidence, thanking and praising him all the way.
Scripture of the Day: Ezekiel 12:28

Prayer for the Day:
Savoir, intercede on our behalf, that our prayers reach the ear of our heavenly father. In our imperfection we ask in your grace, that our burdens be removed, that our walk with you from this moment forward be light, that you keep your protective arm around us all and dismiss from us and our families all that come against us before it reaches us. That we move within our calling planting seeds to forward your kingdom in your name Jesus, Amen

Discussion Topic: What Are You Doing To Get What You Want? Yesterday we asked the question: “What do you really want?” Today we are asking what are you doing to see that through. The greatest advice I received in a time of need was “What is your problem…you have resources & the only thing that is keeping you from contacting just one is your pride. Seek out your resources & exhaust them…then find new ones”.
Many times in prayer we ask for answers and much of the time we overlook the answer because it may not be the one we were hoping for. I can reflect on many prayers that indeed were answered but not in the manner I expected, but an answer just the same. I have an experienced appreciation for God in my life and at this moment am smiling like the Cheshire Cat because to me, God is everything, family (my heavenly father), friend (my unbiased ear), protector (a shield against all that comes against me, My rock (a firm foundation for me to stand) that one who I can come to as I am and know he understands. It is for me to remain focused that I recognize what is placed in front of me and to do so I must remain focused on His word (his promises for me & my life) that I know friend v/s foe as they are placed before me. Know the difference between a distraction & a blessing. Do I get it right all of the time, no, but I grow a little more closer to Him everyday the effort is made to know Him better.
Scripture of the Day: Deuteronomy 4:29-31 “29 But if from there you see the Lord your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul. 30 When you are in distress and all things have happened to you, then in later days you will return to the Lord your God and obey him. 31 For the Lord your God is a merciful God; he will not abandon or destroy you or forget the covenant with your forefathers, which he confirmed to them by oath."
Prayer for the Day: Father thank you for keeping me close to you, in my heart, mind & soul. For accepting me as I am and guiding me. Your word empowers me, your care secures me; in all that I do keep my focus on you and all else will fall in line, in Jesus' Name, Amen

What do you REALLY want?
Simple question, which should have a simple answer… But what I have found, recently, is that it is not as simple to respond to this question simply…mainly because we tend to complicate the simple…I am interested in hearing your feedback on this question…What do you really want?
I had to get this one to you just because it embodies so much of what the scripture messages mean to me and sharing that message daily with you. All day every day we see so many negative things...in our news, at our jobs, just walking down the street and it is so hard, if we allow it to be, to remain focused, reassured and positive. As children of our Father, we are intended, of purpose, humbled and of joy and faith, placed as leaders as living representations of Him knowing those weapons formed against us will not prosper, that wisdom in all things that are Him is our defense and that we can move confidently forward with the knowledge and understanding of the wisdom bestowed upon us by our Lord. So when I heard the message spoken in reference to Matthew 18:20, I wanted to explain what that meant to me. With each of these prayers I see everyone that knows everyone that I know, that they know... praying in agreement and in that agreement is our Lord moving throughout our daily lives with us every step of the way...I do not know how far this covering reaches but I have faith enough to know it touches everyone our Father intended to reach...so if you feel Him calling...answer "we are in agreement" today and everyday that we pray together.
Scripture of the Day: Matthew 18:20
“For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them."
Prayer for the Day:
Father God, as we begin our daily routines may we not lose sight of our intended purpose, that we remain a focused humble servant, faithful and joyful. That our representation of your glory in us greet everyone in our path, before a word is spoken and may any ill intention fall away from us as rain on an umbrella...we thank you and praise you for your wisdom, peace and protection, in Jesus' Name, Amen

Goal for the day:
Unify your thoughts, those who you are committed to, that which you promised uncompromisingly unify that the fullness of your intent be realized.
Discussion Topic: The Definition of Unity.
My 10 year old asked me what does unity really mean, so I immediately directed her to the dictionary so she understood the “textbook” definition & she said, “No mommy I know what that says, but I hear it a lot and it seems to have a lot of meanings” so I gave her my view on “Unity” which was basically a group of people or things moving together as one in agreement…& she came up with this metaphor… “Like the music I play on my clarinet…when I play it right…all the sounds come are together at once and sound good…but if I play 1 key wrong it is not in unity”… What metaphor do you have that can describe the definition of Unity?
When everything is seeming as if it is coming full circle, favor just around the bend, you are hit with everything but the kitchen sink and sometimes the kitchen sink too. Satin is the author of confusion, know your enemy & what is most important to your enemy.Your faith. If you can lose faith and begin to doubt the word of God, you give Satan an opening. My sister said it best, “when you are faithful, you are wearing the full armor of God, but every time you doubt or lose faith it is like a crack in your armor making you a little more vulnerable”. All your enemy needs is to locate your weakness to compromise your faith.Cover yourself in his word daily, continue to strengthen your faith so there is no weakness & treat your faith like American Express & “Don’t Leave Home Without It”.
Scripture of the Day: John 14:27
“14I am leaving you with a gift – peace of mind and heart! And the peace I give isn’t fragile like the peace the world gives. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”
Prayer for the Day:
Father you said in your word, I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee (Exodus 23:27). I stand firm on your word and thank you for the gift of my peace of mind knowing you are in control, that you will not allow harm to come to me and that my enemy is already defeated, thank you father, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Discussion Topic: Just When I Thought I Was Out, You Pull Me Back In.
I am smiling within thinking of my Grandmother & her words “Never ever say aloud “What’s the worse that could happen?” no sooner do you invite it, do you get your answer” It seems like many around me are feeling the same way, getting knocked back down every time they stand up. Me too, but I take comfort in the fact that I stand. I think of the circumstance and actually name it “trainer”.Like a trainer at a gym… you know when a circumstance gets bad it bends me down (squat), then I pop back up, it bends me down again & I pop back up…the more repetitions, the stronger my legs & the fiercer my walk.
You’ve prayed, you are patiently awaiting your blessing, you are productively moving forward – Praise Him. Right where you are, thank God & Praise him.In our daily routine we overlook the blessings of each day and I guarantee every morning you have something to praise God for. Praise him for your breath, your family, for the lesson of your living, for the ability to think clearly and carry on despite trials, for loving you so much he could never let go, for his protection, direction and unconditional love. Praise Him – To God be the Glory!!!
Scripture of the Day: Psalm 92:1-2
“1 It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High, 2 to shew forth they loving kindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night.”
Prayer for the Day:
Father my only prayer today is Thank you so much for being my all and never failing me. For giving me the awareness to be who I am all of the time no matter the circumstance. For showing me faith and removing my fears. I praise you today and everyday, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Thought for the day:

Goal for the day:
Take the time to send a special thank you to those who are always there for you…keeping you moving forward & never letting you down & don’t forget to let them know why they are important to you.
Discussion Topic: The Humbled Heart of Praise.
Thank you is good, but letting yourself express the reasons for the thank you and acknowledging why you are thankful or just stating your true feelings to God, to that friend that never fails you, to your parents who did all they could to make you who you are, to your assistant that runs 3 blocks to catch you because you left an important report you needed for your meeting…Thank you is generally settled for mainly because of the vulnerability of heartfelt praise… Why is it that we wait until the eulogy to let someone know exactly what they meant to us?
I am ever reminded of the phrase “A watched pot never boils” During your waiting period there is much that can be accomplished or a quality of time achieved. Time is the only thing that can not be returned to you so why spend a moment impatiently waiting for the inevitable.Though it is the same time frame, it is up to you whether it is lost, quality or productive.Remain prayerful, faithful, focused, productive and above all else, joyous.
Scripture of the Day: Matthew 6:33-34
“33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
Prayer for the Day:
Father, keep my mind focused on you that I all do is not in haste, in worry or in vein.As I patiently wait for you, help me to keep moving closer to you and your will for me.Disallow me to waist one moment that all I do is productive and a step closer to the forwarding of your kingdom, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

It is no wonder in the time we live in, where everything is instantly at our beck and call, that no one has the patience to wait for a response.Though technology drives the world, our heavenly Father is unchanged. He is the same yesterday, today & tomorrow. While we pray and are certain, in faith, it has been done. Joyously wait for the manifestation of your prayer.Remember, the prayer of the righteous is not returned void & if at this moment you feel you are not righteous, you have the intercessory saving grace of Jesus Christ our Savior mediating on your behalf. I don’t know about you, but my heart is overjoyed knowing God’s got me covered & he’s got you covered too.
Scripture of the Day: Romans 12:12
“12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
Prayer for the Day:
Father, I have asked and know it is done. My heart leaps knowing you have removed from me my burdens. I love you with my entire being and am blessed to have you in my life. Glory be to you always and forever, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Thought for the day:
“Patience serves as a protection against wrongs as clothes do against cold. For if you put on more clothes as the cold increases, it will have no power to hurt you.So in like manner, you must grow in patience when you meet with great wrongs, and they will then be powerless to vex your mind. “– Leonardo da Vinci
Goal for the day:
Enjoy the freedom of a new day, what ever that freedom is, bask in it, taking it all in.

What can you ,mindfully free yourself from that would enhance your day?
Trying to find our way through unfamiliar territory is useless without a map or compass.Navigating through life without a guide is as well.We were given free will to choose our course in life, we were also given the Word of God as a compass, if we choose to use it.If you are seeking direction in your life, invite Him in and pray for guidance and direction. Our Lord will not force himself upon those unwilling to receive Him, you have to grant Him access to your life and welcome his direction before he manifests himself in you.
Scripture of the Day: Psalm 25:1-5
“1 To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul;. 2 in you I trust, O my God. Do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me. 3 No one whose hope is in you will ever be put to shame, but they will be put to shame who are treacherous without excuse. 4Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths;. 5 guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.
Prayer for the Day:
Father, not my will but yours. I ask that you take the reins of my life and guide me that I am the full representation of your intention for my life.Steer me away from that which is not of you, place in my path those who forward your purpose and provide me the proper discernment between the two.I give you my life and faithfully trust your guidance, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Thought for the day:
“For hundreds of millions of Americans who believe in God, prayer is our bridge between Earth and Heaven, our way of opening our hearts to the Lord. Through this intimate relationship we find peace and guidance. “– Nick Rahall

Discussion Topic: Falling back, Into God’s Arms.
We’ve all seen the exercise where a person stands behind you and you fall back, trusting they will catch you. What is keeping you from “falling back” into the capable arms of God, knowing he is always there for you?
I had a wonderful conversation about prayer mainly focused on the premise of this scripture: I Peter 3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”The definition of righteous is: acting in accordance with divine or moral law; free from guilt or sin.So if God’s eyes are on the righteous and his ears are open to the prayers of the righteous, why pray if we all are not free from guilt or sin?...Through the grace of the sacrifice of our Savior , Jesus Christ, we were provisioned with the ultimate intercessor. Our prayer is always in Jesus’ name as through him we have been forgiven, removed from guilt & sin. So “Be joyful always: 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. Have faith & believe it is done.
Scripture of the Day: John 16:23-24
“23 In that day you will no longer ask me anything.I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. 24 Until now you have not asked for anything in my name.Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.
Prayer for the Day:
Father we thank and praise you for your love, guidance, mercy and grace. For the ever presence of your light in all things and for the constant reminder of your un-weighted care for us. In our ups & downs & our righteousness and disobedience you remain our invariable source of unconditional love. We are your willing servants, continue to draw us nearer to you, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
