Day 35 – Prayer & Fasting - Judgment

Today's Scripture Passage: Isaiah 33:22

22 For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; it is he who will save us.

Today's Scripture Message:

You are not made to run from a problem and allow it to hover uncompleted.  You are to face what confronts you and handle it in representation of his kingdom.  It is in those times you move from professor to witness.

Your limitations are only the thoughts YOU allow to limit you.  “Do you know who you are? Do you understand what you really have? Do you have any idea of what you can really do? Stop living your life with limits” -  Bill Winston
We are made in the image of God and of his likeness. His truth resides within us according to His word.  The strength of the Lord is our strength, the victory of the Lord is our victory, the peace of the Lord is our peace, the blessing of the Lord is our blessing!!! Know who you are & Who’s you are and live every moment from this one on in assurance of your proper place. Your sight is not worldly, it is kingdomly.  Look not on the exterior, but ever on the heart.

Prayer for the day:

Father, help me to see truth more than hear assessed judgment. Direct my eyes to the heart not the hearth of matters.  Forgive me for ever pointing the finger of blame and not understanding the core of the circumstance. I have much to learn and am willing to absorb all lessons you have for me, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thought for the day:
“Who's the judge? The judge is God!
Why is he God? Because he decides who wins or loses, not my opponent!
Who's your opponent? He doesn't exist!
Why does he not exist? Because he is merely a dissenting voice to the truth I speak!”

Goal for the Day
Handle your business, stop letting it loom, face it, handle it, eliminate it.

Pastor Dickow’s Fast from Wrong Thinking
Revolution Day 35:

Today we’re fasting from the thought that says, “I could never be wealthy.”

 Let’s change it today:

1.       God is not against wealth. He is against greed! (Luke 12:15) God gives abundance, but our heart must not be attached to it.

2.      God gives you POWER to get wealth. (Deuteronomy 8:18) You have the power, even if you don’t have the wealth yet. If your purpose is to advance God’s kingdom in the earth, supernatural provision will come.

3.      Get pregnant with wealth’s power twins! You have the 2 ingredients for wealth in the Bible: WISDOM & SEED. Ask for wisdom. Plant your seed. (James 1:5 & Genesis 8:22).

4.      Unleash the power of hope. Don’t put your hope in riches. Put your hope in God. (1 Timothy 6:17) God supplies ALL THINGS RICHLY when your hope is in him.

5.      Ask God for the wealth of this world to be released into your life. Proverbs 13:22 says “Wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous!” Connect this promise to Psalm 2:8, “Ask of Me and I will give you the nations as your inheritance...”

THINK IT & SAY IT:
God is the source of true wealth, and He has given me the power to get wealth -to establish His covenant in the earth. I ask for wisdom, and receive it by faith. I put my hope in God, not wealth; and I expect Him to richly supply, as He has promised. I ask you Lord for the wealth of the sinner to be released into my life, in Jesus’ Name!

Daily Lenten Reflection from
St. Michael of Old Town

Tuesday of the Fifth Week of Lent
April 12, 2011

When you lift up the Son of Man you will come to realize that I AM and that I do nothing by myself.” (John 8:28)

When I was young I couldn't wait to ride a bicycle.  A bike would be my key to see the world (or at least the world beyond my neighborhood).  The big day finally arrived and I was so excited to start riding.  I quickly realized, however, that I had to first learn how to ride the bike.  My dad became my instructor and did his best to navigate me as I tried to navigate the intricacies of bike riding.  Despite his best efforts in those early days I took more than one fall.  I will never forget how much I needed him to be there to teach me and to encourage me especially when I fell to get back up and keep riding.

Fr. Richard Thibodeau, C.Ss.R.

“Loving God, there is so much I need to learn.  In those moments when I feel I can do everything myself remind me that I am not an island. I need you, I need others.  Thank you for always being there to show me the path, to help me on that path, and to be there to help pick me up whenever I fall.  Give me the courage and the humility to ask for help. Give me the faith to know that even when I fall you will always be there to help me get back up and continue on.
