Today's Scripture Passage: Matthew 11:28-29
28"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls”.
Today's Scripture Message:
You are not to spend your time in worry, being anxious, or frustrated. A carnal mind focuses on what is happening; a spiritual mind praises the victory over the circumstance. There is always an opportunity to be presented, worrying will direct your mind away from the opportunity and keep you focused on the problem. Worry is not your center of attention. Know there is a plan for your life and remain stayed on the guidance toward solution, not fixed within the problem. We serve a creative, caring and capable God and when you ask faithfully for guidance, you will receive a response…it’s knowing so that makes the difference. An eagle faces a storm head on spreading it’s wings and flying over the storm…You are eagles…take flight.
Prayer for the day:
Father, as I continue fully focused on you, remove from me what does not belong, that I am not distracted in worry and there is no room for fear. Help me every day to grow stronger in my faith, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Thought for the day:
"Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow, it only saps today of its joy.”
~ Leo F. Buscaqlia
Goal for the Day
Find the eagle in you and get rid of your fear of flying.

Pastor Dickow’s Fast from Wrong Thinking
Revolution Day 32:
Today we’re fasting from the thought that says, “I don’t have what I need.” This mindset limits us and has to be eliminated.
Let’s change it today:
1. Start with what you have, not what you don’t have. Remember what God has done and given you already. (Psalm 103:1-3) IT will build your faith.”
2. 2. YOU HAVE WHAT YOU NEED. Look for what you have in your house. (2 Kings 4:2-5) Look inside, not outside.
3. Your inventory is FULLY stocked. See your body as your house—and God’s house. (1 Corinthians 3:16) You have the Holy Spirit in you. You have a mouth to speak the Word (2 Corinthians 4:13). You have a heart to fill up on God’s Word. You have a mind to think God’s thoughts. (Proverbs 23:7).
4. 4. Plant what you have as seed to harvest what you need. (Matthew 14:17) Treat what you have in your hand AS SEED. Put it in His hand, and it will meet your NEED.”
5. When you pray, BELIEVE YOU HAVE RECEIVED what you asked for. This is how faith works. Mark 11:24 says, “Whatsoever thing you desire WHEN you pray, believe you have received it, and it shall be yours.”
THINK IT & SAY IT:
I DO have what I need—it’s inside of me. My inventory is fully stocked. I have the Word of God. I have the promises of God. I have the Spirit of God. I have the faith of God. Whatever is lacking in my life is available to me, in seed form, In Jesus’ Name, Amen!

Daily Lenten Reflection from
St. Michael of Old Town
Saturday of the Fourth Week of Lent
April 9, 2011
“Nicodemus, he who had come to him at night, who was one of them, said to them, ‘Does our Law judge a man unless it first give him a hearing, and know what he does?’ They answered and said to him, ‘Art thou also a Galilean? Search the Scriptures and see that out of Galilee arises no prophet.’” (John 7:50-53)
When we first bought our house, we needed to do a lot of work on it. We had heard that the building inspectors in our village were very strict, usually not passing inspections on the first try. We also heard that they were not very helpful. We were adding some plumbing, and when the inspector came out, he told us that the work that was done would pass, but he thought it would be better if we made a few changes to the older plumbing. He then told us what should be done to make the plumbing work better.
We made the changes he recommended and when he came out to inspect again, he passed it. He also said that because our original work passed inspection, that he would not charge us a re-inspection fee. We were really surprised at how helpful he was. He was not at all what we were expecting.

Lord, help us to not judge those before we know what they have done.
