Today's Scripture Passage: Romans 12:6-8
6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your[a] faith; 7 if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; 8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead,[b] do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
Today's Scripture Message:
I woke today to many thoughts of the blessings of the gifts I have been given, my family, my talents, the love that I have that could have easily dimmed in all that I’ve experienced and could only say “Thank You Father”!!! Many have not made it but your favor has seen me through. Sure life may not be pristine, but perfectly in his order and realizing that keeps me excited about what will come. I have been granted a lot in my voice, in my ability and in the love I share that I am required to, in wisdom, use it to reach out to everyone I can in representation of what has been provided to me by God. It is never too late. If you can no longer run, walk. If you can no longer sing, hum. If you can no longer stand, sit, but continue to share your gift empowering the world, forwarding His kingdom.
Prayer for the day:
Father, I am in awe of all that you are in my life. Keep me and all of my brothers and sisters in perfect peace. Move us always in your direction eager to share what we have been given to reflect your presence in our lives. No matter what, keep us focused on what you have purposed us for, mindful of all that has been sacrificed on our behalf and lovingly in your precious grace, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
