His Way, Not Mine

Today's Scripture Passage: Joshua 1:9

⁹ Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Today’s Scripture Message:

Sometimes your best laid plans, don’t go as planned and so many times we allow life as it is, to wear us down, but knowing your steps are purposed when you ask the guidance of the Lord over your life, you learn not to see the problem, but the solution as granted you.  I think back to the many 9/11 stories of the people who had a fender bender on the way to work and ended up calling off and not going to work at the World Trade Center.  Or the married couple who had a dispute and because of it, they were running late for work that morning. Had they not been diverted, they could have possibly been one of those who perished during that horrible attack. If we learn to think in terms not of what we are missing, but how we are being blessed within the unforeseen distraction, our outlook of the situation changes. 

Prayer for the Day:
Father my trust and faith is in you.  You said take me at my word and I am. I will not deviate from your promises over my life and thank you for always keeping me close.  I celebrate today a joyous victory in the perfection of your purpose for me, in Jesus Name, Amen

Some days are better than others, one thing to understand is that your emotions can dictate the weather. Dare to challenge this simple thought today…"it’s just one of them days" for all of us…life can have so many thoughts from within...what can you do… is it a form of acceptance or a choice within you…do we create or own problems within our life…something to think on..your thoughts.
