Today's Scripture Passage: Romans 1:16-17 16I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. 17For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith.". ...................................................................................................... Today’s Scripture Message: I had to share the breakdown of the scripture Romans 1:15-17 because it is so powerful. In order to properly do that I had to give you the “text book” definitions of key words in this passage & then replace the words with their definitions so you fully feel this passage. ................................................................................................. Definitions: Ashamed: Restrained by the anticipation of a condition of humiliating disgrace or disrepute. Power: The ability to act or produce an effect Salvation: The realization of the supremacy of infinite mind over all; liberation from ignorance or illusion; preservation from destruction or failure; deliverance from danger or difficulty. Belief: Conviction of the truth of some statement, or the reality of some being or phenomenon. Righteousness: Acting in accord with divine or moral law Faith: Firm belief in something for which there is no proof; complete trust. ...................................................................................................... Paraphrased: "I am not restrained by the anticipation of a condition of humiliating disgrace of the gospel, because it is the ability to act or produce an effect of God for the realization of the supremacy of infinite mind over all; liberation of ignorance or illusion; preservation from destruction or failure; deliverance from danger or difficulty of EVERYONE who has the conviction of the truth of HIS statement or the reality of His being or His phenomenon: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. 17 For in the gospel and acting in accord with divine or moral law from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by firm belief in something for which there is no proof; COMPLETE TRUST from first to last, JUST AS IT IS WRITTEN: (Come ON!!!) “The righteous will live by faith”. Know your word, get a complete understanding of it, emulate & believe it & IT IS DONE!!!. ....................................................................................................
