Focus on What is Right and Be Grateful

Today’s Scripture: Colossians 2:6-7

6So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, 7rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

Today’s Scripture Message:

Today I heard a song I’d not heard in years, “Be Grateful” – Walter Hawkins and the resonated so strongly with me I had to share it with you… “God has not promised me sunshine, that’s not the way it’s going to be. But a little rain mixed with God’s sunshine, a little pain…makes me appreciate the good times – Be Grateful”  Nothing but God is perfect. So from time to time, some more than others, we are faced with difficulties. But you also have the Grace and spirit of God to help you through those times if for no other reason than to focus on what you have, more than what you’ve lost. Though the circumstances of the influences that initiated the problems have not changed, the effects of those distractions have.  I found this wonderful statement from inspirational-bible-verses.com that states: “Regardless of life's challenges, we have much to be thankful for. We can have an attitude of gratitude, focus on what is right in our lives and be thankful for those things. We can choose to be thankful for what we have and who God is, as opposed to what we don't have. Let's offer thanksgiving to God in advance for what He is going to do and for the prayers yet to be answered!” Remain focused on the Father, he is always with you doing so removes the anchor of the current circumstance freeing you to move forward.

Thought for the Day:

Hem your blessings with thankfulness so they don't unravel. - Unknown

Goal for the Day:

Express yourself, graciously… “Thank you very much” as well as “Thank you anyway” carries a lot of weight.

Happy 125th Day of the New Year!!!

May Graciousness and Gratitude Consume You Today!!!

Many Blessings!!!
