The Enemy Enters By Invitation Only.

Today’s Scripture: Ephesians 6:11-17

¹¹Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. ¹²For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. ¹³Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. ¹⁴Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, ¹⁵and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. ¹⁶In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. ¹⁷Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Today’s Scripture Message:

What are you welcoming into your life?  Nothing can take a stronghold of you without allowance.  As you were given free will to choose, our Father will not enter without your acceptance of Christ as your saving Lord.  Same is with Satan and his worldly powers.  He can not penetrate your existence without your invitation.  So I ask again, what are you inviting or allowing in your life that should not be there?  What are you not allowing that should be there? By not forgiving a person who has done you harm is not seeing the force behind the action of that person, forgive the person as the force behind the act is already defeated.  If you are aware that alcoholism is a stronghold for you, and you receive a gift from a friend that includes alcohol, understand the force behind the temptation and refuse to allow it in, the habit is already defeated. “Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
